Alloz is a small inland lake in northern Spain with minimal wind resource and challenging access conditions. The water body is surrounded by agricultural land on the eastern side and residential development on the western peninsula. The coastline primarily faces east toward open water, making south-facing shores the optimal side-shore orientation for wind. This spot is fundamentally constrained by extremely poor wind statistics (0.7% reliability, 5.1 knots average), indicating it rarely generates sufficient conditions for kitesurfing. The residential development, shallow zones, and limited water expanse further restrict progression potential. Alloz is suitable only for complete beginners seeking protected, flat-water practice in exceptionally light winds—essentially during rare favorable days. Most serious kiters would find wind conditions insufficient. Access appears limited to the developed western shore area. Water temperature at 14.2°C requires appropriate thermal protection. This location works as a backup light-wind venue only.
