Coral Cove is a small, protected bay in southwestern Grenada characterized by shallow, clear water and irregular coastline dotted with residential development. The spot consists of multiple narrow channels and coves bordered by green vegetation and rocky outcrops. Water clarity and color variation indicate shallow depths interspersed with deeper channels and reef structures. The extremely limited fetch distance (approximately 2-3km to adjacent islands) and narrow bay orientation restrict wave development, resulting in average wave heights of 1.26m. Wind reliability is low at 8.7%, suggesting this location is sheltered from prevailing trade winds. The bay's protected nature makes it suitable for beginners during consistent trade wind periods, particularly with northerly winds for side-shore conditions. However, shallow water, reef hazards, dense residential areas, and boat traffic present significant challenges. Best conditions occur during stronger trade wind periods from December to March. This spot works primarily for lighter-wind days or as a secondary option rather than a primary kitesurfing destination.
