Noppharat Thara is a shallow bay in southern Thailand's Phang Nga Province, characterized by turquoise waters, mangrove-lined shores, and protected geography. The bay faces southeast with limited water depth and significant mudflat areas visible in the satellite imagery. The spot is enclosed by residential development and natural vegetation, creating a sheltered environment with minimal wave generation and fetch. Water conditions are extremely flat with average wave heights of 0.21m, making this unsuitable for wave riding. Wind reliability is critically low at 0.5%, indicating this location rarely experiences consistent wind suitable for kitesurfing. The shallow waters present obstacles including submerged vegetation, varying depths, and potential grounding risks. Best wind conditions would arrive from the northeast on rare occasions. This spot is technically accessible to beginners due to flat water and low hazards, but the absence of wind makes it impractical for regular kitesurfing activity. The area is better suited for other water activities requiring minimal wind exposure.
