Roses Pueblo is a small bay on the northeastern Costa Brava coast of Spain, protected by breakwaters and piers at its southern entrance. The bay faces northeast into open Mediterranean waters, with a sandy beach backed by dense residential development. This is a sheltered, enclosed bay environment rather than an exposed coastal break. The spot offers small, choppy waves (0.65m average) in calm conditions with minimal fetch due to the bay's protected nature. Wind reliability is very low at 13.1%, with average winds of only 7.3 knots—marginal for kitesurfing. Best wind direction would be southeasterly (roughly 155°), providing side-shore conditions along the northeastern-facing coast. The shallow, sandy bay floor and calm waters make it technically suitable for beginners when wind is present, but the inconsistent wind makes progression difficult. Urban development and waterfront infrastructure limit the practical riding area. This spot is best attempted during periods of stronger regional wind patterns or thermal sea breezes, though conditions remain unreliable year-round.
