Revere Beach is a sandy beach break located on the Massachusetts coast north of Boston. The shore faces nearly due north toward the Atlantic Ocean with a sheltered bay configuration. The beach is backed by residential development and industrial infrastructure, limiting the usable area for kitesurfing. Water conditions are typically choppy with modest wave heights averaging 0.51m. Wind reliability is very low at 5.3%, making consistent sessions rare. When wind is available, easterly flows provide the best side-shore conditions. The spot suits beginners during favorable conditions due to gentle waves and sandy bottom, but the limited fetch, industrial proximity, boat traffic from adjacent port facilities, and inconsistent wind make this a marginal destination. Water temperatures average 11°C, requiring winter protection most of the year. Local knowledge of tidal conditions and industrial vessel movements is important for safety. Better wind consistency exists at more exposed New England locations.
