Port de Sagunt is a sandy beach break located on Spain's eastern Mediterranean coast, facing east toward open water. The spot sits within an urban and industrial setting, with dense residential development to the west and port facilities visible in the satellite imagery. The beach provides direct access to relatively shallow, sheltered waters suitable for learning. However, this location presents significant limitations: wind reliability is extremely poor at 2.7%, averaging only 5.4 knots, making consistent sessions unlikely. Wave energy is minimal with 0.45m average heights. The proximity to an active port means boat traffic and congestion during operational hours. Several rocky hazards are visible in the nearshore zone. Despite these constraints, the calm, shallow conditions and sandy bottom make this suitable for absolute beginners during rare stronger wind windows, typically from the north (side-shore). Kiters should expect minimal wind on most days and should scout conditions before committing to sessions.
