Water conditions are calm with minimal wave generation (0.60m average), making this primarily a wind-dependent flat-water or light-swell destination. The coastline orientation exposes the beach to easterly swells but offers reliable side-shore conditions from northerly winds. The spot is severely limited by extremely low wind reliability at 2.0% annually with average winds of only 5.4 knots, making consistent sessions rare. Shallow water extends 50-100m offshore, constraining riding distance. This location suits absolute beginners during the rare windy windows, with calm, protected conditions and gentle water. However, the minimal swell and poor wind statistics make it an unreliable primary training venue. Best approached as a backup spot during strong northerly wind events.
