The water conditions are characteristically flat with minimal wave development due to the protected bay setting and limited fetch distance. Wind reliability is extremely low at 0.6%, and average wind speeds of 4.5 knots fall below the typical minimum threshold for functional kitesurfing (8-12 knots). Best conditions would occur with northerly winds providing side-shore flow across the bay. The spot's primary appeal is as a flat-water training location during rare stronger wind events rather than a consistent freestyle or wave-riding destination. This location suits only advanced kiters who can launch and progress in marginal wind conditions, or complete beginners during exceptional wind events.
