Burgas Bay is a large sheltered lagoon system on Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, separated from open water by a narrow beach barrier. This is an extremely flat-water environment with minimal wave generation due to short fetch and protected geography. Water depths appear very shallow throughout, requiring careful maneuvering.
