The bay faces northeast toward the South China Sea, with developed residential areas occupying the western shoreline and a narrow peninsula extending into the bay creating distinct water zones. The spot features calm, shallow conditions typical of a sheltered bay environment, making it suitable for beginners when wind is available. Best conditions occur with northwesterly winds (315°) that approach parallel to the northeast-facing coastline. The extremely low wind reliability (1.5%) and modest average wind speed (4.7 knots) present significant limitations for consistent kitesurfing sessions. Average wave height of 0.99m indicates minimal swell penetration due to the bay's sheltered nature. Kiters should be aware of boat traffic, shallow areas requiring board control, and the need to monitor shifting sandbars. This spot works best during seasonal wind patterns, typically requiring patience and local knowledge of optimal conditions.
