The bay itself provides relatively protected water conditions typical of Swedish coastal lagoons. The spot's main characteristic is its sheltered nature, making it accessible for beginners when wind is available. However, the location suffers from very low wind reliability (5.1%), meaning sessions are infrequent and unpredictable. Average wind speeds of 6.7 knots are marginal for kitesurfing and well below typical requirements for progression. The small average wave height (0.33m) and choppy water conditions indicate this is primarily a flat-water spot unsuitable for wave riding development. Best conditions occur with northeast to easterly winds that approach side-shore orientation. The forested surroundings and shallow bay bathymetry make this spot best suited for absolute beginners practicing body dragging and basic control in light wind conditions, though finding consistent wind to practice remains the primary challenge.
