Galéria is located on the western coast of Corsica, France, in a sheltered bay formed between rocky headlands. The spot features a sandy beach backed by dense forest, with a river mouth creating distinctive dark water patterns visible in the satellite image. The bay orientation (northeast-facing) provides some protection from open ocean swells while allowing wind funneling through the valley. The spot suits beginners to intermediate riders due to small, manageable waves (0.89m average) and relatively protected conditions. However, wind reliability is very low at 5.4%, making consistent sessions difficult. Kiters should be aware of the river current affecting water movement, rocky hazards at the southern headland, and the shallow sandbar extending from the beach. The limited fetch distance restricts wave development. Best wind direction is from the northwest (315°), which provides ideal side-shore conditions while respecting the bay's geography. This spot works best during rare weather windows when stronger wind patterns penetrate the valley protection.
