The spot features shallow, protected water with dark seagrass beds interspersed with rocky outcrops, creating a complex riding environment. The lagoon receives consistent trade winds with 74% reliability and moderate average wind speeds of 13.8 knots. Best conditions occur with northeast winds (side-shore at 45°), which provide parallel wind flow along the northwestern coastline. The shallow, chop-filled conditions suit intermediate riders comfortable with navigation around obstacles and varying water depths. Wave exposure is limited due to reef protection, keeping average wave height around 1.1m.
