Liseleje

Liseleje is a beach break located on the northern coast of Zealand, Denmark, facing northwest into the Øresund strait region. The spot consists of a sandy beach with residential development immediately behind and dense forest to the south. The water is characterized as choppy with low average wave height (0.41m), making it better suited for flat-water freestyle or light wind conditions than wave riding. With average wind speeds of 10.4 knots and only 32.8% reliability, this is a marginal spot that works best during stronger pressure systems. Northeast winds provide ideal side-shore conditions for this northwest-facing beach. The shallow, choppy water and proximity to residential areas make this primarily a beginner-friendly location for practicing light-wind techniques. Kiters should note that consistent wind conditions are not guaranteed, and the spot is most productive during autumn and winter months when Atlantic systems bring more reliable flows.
