Manjuyod Sandbar

Manjuyod Sandbar is a shallow lagoon spot located in the Philippines, characterized by extensive tidal sandbar formations. The spot features a northeast-facing coastline with side-shore potential from northwesterly winds. However, wind reliability is exceptionally low at 1.6%, making consistent sessions rare. Water temperatures average 28.1°C year-round. The shallow, flat-water environment makes this primarily suitable for beginner kiters or those practicing technique in controlled conditions. The main challenge is securing adequate wind—sessions are infrequent and typically require specific weather patterns. The sandbar's shifting nature and variable depths demand careful navigation and local knowledge. Best approached during monsoon season when wind patterns are more predictable. The spot's primary appeal is its protected, mellow conditions rather than performance riding opportunities.
