Archaravi is a sandy beach break located on the northeastern coast of Corfu, Greece, facing northwest toward the Ionian Sea. The spot features a gently sloping sandy bottom with residential and resort development immediately behind the beach. The site offers predictable, sheltered conditions typical of the Ionian coast, with light winds and minimal swell averaging 0.47m. Best conditions occur with northeasterly winds providing side-shore flow across the beach. The spot is most suitable for beginners and those learning to kitesurf, as the shallow water, small waves, and consistent light winds reduce hazard exposure. However, the extremely low wind reliability (1.3%) means sessions are infrequent, and progression beyond basic skills is limited by the minimal wave height. Kiters should be aware of shallow areas extending well offshore, potential boat traffic in the developed area, and the need for light-wind equipment. The protected bay setting provides safety but limits the dynamic conditions needed for advancing technique.
