Bagasbas is a coastal beach break located on the eastern shore of Quezon province in the Philippines, facing directly east toward the Philippine Sea. The spot features a gently sloping sandy beach with moderate residential development and agricultural land backing the coastline. Best winds for kitesurfing would come from the north (0°) or south (180°), maintaining a side-shore angle parallel to the coast. This location is fundamentally limited by extremely low wind reliability at only 0.3%, making consistent sessions rare. Average wave heights of 1.15m and water temperatures around 27°C provide warm-water conditions suitable for beginners when wind is available. The shallow nearshore zone and visible sandbars require careful navigation. This spot is better suited for light-wind practice sessions rather than serious progression, and kiters should prioritize checking local wind forecasts given the unreliable conditions. Water quality considerations exist due to proximity to populated areas.
