Cala de Mijas

Best conditions occur with easterly winds providing side-shore flow parallel to the coast. The shallow water, crowded beach environment, and proximity to residential and commercial infrastructure make this primarily a beginner-level spot when wind is present. Kiters should expect significant conflicts with swimmers and beach users during daylight hours. The protected bay setting limits wave exposure and natural wind funneling. Local knowledge of seasonal wind patterns and scheduling around beach crowding would be essential for any regular use.
