Dunas de Chachalacas

Dunas de Chachalacas is a beach break located on Mexico's Gulf Coast, facing northwest toward the open water. The spot features a sandy beach with a lagoon system visible to the south and rocky formations scattered in the nearshore zone. The area experiences very small average waves (0.93m) and minimal wind reliability, making consistent conditions rare. Best wind direction is northeast to east, providing side-shore conditions parallel to the northwest-facing coastline. The shallow nearshore waters and visible obstacles make this suitable primarily for beginner and intermediate kiters during rare stronger wind events.
