Best conditions occur with northeast winds (45°) providing side-shore flow parallel to the main bay opening. The spot is primarily suited for beginners and intermediates due to relatively protected conditions and moderate wave energy. However, the low wind reliability (1.4%) and extremely light average wind speed (5.2 knots) make this a marginal location that requires favorable weather windows. Kiters should be experienced with reading tidal movements and navigating shallow water obstacles. The dense forest limits bailout options and rescue accessibility.
