Kazma Beach

Kazma Beach is a developed coastal spot in Tunisia facing northeast toward the Mediterranean Sea. The beach is backed by dense urban and industrial development with a river inlet visible to the north. The spot features a shallow, sandy bottom with gradual depth transition, creating small shore-parallel sandbars visible in the lighter green water zones. Water conditions are characteristically choppy rather than organized. The spot experiences very limited swell averaging 0.45m and marginal wind reliability at only 4.7%, making consistent sessions difficult to predict. Best winds arrive from the northwest (315°), providing side-shore conditions parallel to the beach. The shallow, protected nature and minimal wave energy make this suitable only for absolute beginners or those seeking flat-water practice. The combination of low wind consistency and minimal swell means this spot works best during winter storm systems when Mediterranean lows bring stronger northwesterly winds. Urban proximity limits space and increases boat traffic, requiring awareness of other water users.
