Lido di Classe is a beach break spot located on the Adriatic coast of Italy near Ravenna, facing east toward open water. The area consists of a sandy beach with immediate residential and commercial development inland, bordered by agricultural fields to the north. The spot is characterized by exceptionally flat water conditions with minimal wave generation, typical of the enclosed Adriatic setting. Wind reliability is critically low at 4.1%, with average winds of only 5.9 knots—substantially below the 12-knot minimum typically required for kitesurfing. Water temperatures average around 15.7°C. The spot suits only beginners during rare stronger wind events, as normal conditions lack sufficient wind and wave energy. The proximity to residential areas, shallow offshore profile, and protected beach setting create limiting factors. This location is better suited for light-wind disciplines or alternative water sports rather than consistent kitesurfing practice.
