Ribadeo

Water conditions are influenced by significant tidal ranges characteristic of this region, creating variable currents. The low wind reliability (3.9%) and modest average wind speed (4.8 knots) suggest this spot is inconsistent for regular kitesurfing but may work during favorable weather windows. Northwest and northwesterly winds offer the best side-shore conditions. The presence of harbor infrastructure, boat traffic, and shallow areas with rocks make this an intermediate-level spot requiring good local knowledge. Best suited for intermediate kiters familiar with tidal dynamics and able to navigate around fixed obstacles. Sessions should be planned around tide states and wind forecasts.
