The lagoon-like conditions and minimal fetch create choppy rather than organized wave patterns. Best wind conditions arrive from the north (side-shore), which aligns with Mediterranean summer thermals. This is primarily a light-wind spot suitable for beginners and those practicing in protected conditions. The shallow water and rocky outcrops require careful navigation, particularly near entry and exit points. Wind reliability is very low at 6.6%, making this a secondary option for dedicated sessions. Water temperatures average 18.4°C, requiring a wetsuit in cooler months. The spot is most viable during summer months when northerly sea breezes develop. Kiters should be aware of limited water depth and rocks scattered in the nearshore zone. Not recommended for wave riding or freestyle due to choppy conditions and minimal swell.
