The bay provides somewhat sheltered conditions but limited fetch distance restricts wave development. Wind reliability is extremely low at 1.3%, making consistent sessions rare. Average wind of 4.7 knots is marginal for kitesurfing. Northwest winds (315°) are most favorable for side-shore conditions across the bay. Water temperature averages 17°C, requiring a wetsuit year-round. The spot suits intermediate kiters familiar with navigating confined spaces and boat traffic. Launch areas are restricted due to residential development and harbor use. Wave heights average 0.56m, insufficient for wave riding but adequate for freestyle in light winds when they occur. This location is better suited for flat-water freestyle practice than progression training.
