Water conditions are heavily influenced by the estuary's freshwater discharge, creating color-stratified waters and dynamic currents. The spot receives consistent Atlantic swells but limited wind reliability (6.7%). Best conditions occur with northwesterly winds (315°) providing side-shore flow. The rough water classification reflects the variable conditions from tidal and freshwater influences. Tamri suits intermediate riders comfortable with variable depths, tidal flows, and shallow water navigation. Launch zones are restricted to specific beach access points, and understanding local tidal cycles is essential. The estuary dynamics make conditions highly variable across tide cycles.
