Torrenueva is a sandy beach break located on Spain's Mediterranean coast facing southwest toward open water. The spot sits within a developed coastal area with dense residential construction immediately inland, limiting infrastructure options. The bay configuration provides some shelter but results in minimal wave generation, with average swell heights of only 0.57 meters. Water conditions are generally light, characteristic of Mediterranean beach environments. Wind statistics show extremely poor reliability at 2.6% with average speeds around 5 knots—insufficient for kitesurfing in most cases. The shallow sandbars visible in the imagery suggest progressive depth, making it potentially suitable for absolute beginners when wind does occur, though the infrequent conditions make this unreliable for planning sessions.
