The lagoon opening channels ocean swells and tidal flows through a narrow mouth, creating dynamic current conditions. Best conditions occur with easterly winds that provide side-shore access parallel to the main beach areas. The shallow, sheltered lagoon water offers a forgiving environment for developing kiters, though extremely low wind reliability (4.5%) and modest average wave heights (1.96m) mean sessions are inconsistent. Average winds of 6.8 knots are marginal for kitesurfing. The spot suits beginners during reliable wind windows, but limited access through mangrove zones and tidal influences require local knowledge.
