The beach offers relatively gentle conditions suitable for beginners when wind is available. Prevailing side-shore wind from the east (90°) provides the safest and most functional wind direction for kitesurfing. However, wind reliability is exceptionally low at 7.2%, making consistent sessions infrequent. Average wave heights of 1.79 meters are modest and depend on Atlantic swell availability. Water temperatures average 19.1°C, requiring a wetsuit year-round. This spot suits beginner to early-intermediate kiters seeking calm-water practice in light winds. Kiters should be aware of shallow sandbars, potential rip currents, and limited space due to coastal development. Summer months typically offer more stable Atlantic swells.
