The coastline faces northeast toward the lagoon waters, creating a protected setting with limited wind acceleration. This location is fundamentally unsuitable for kitesurfing. Wind reliability of only 2.0% indicates the spot experiences calms for 98% of the time, making it impractical for any regular kiting activity. Average wind speeds of 5.8 knots are marginal even under ideal conditions. Wave heights averaging 1.59m suggest minimal swell penetration into the lagoon due to reef protection.
